As four-year old Joey sat on the living room floor, playing with his trucks, he had no idea that the conversation that his mother, Wendy Porter, was having on the phone in the kitchen would potentially change his life forever. On the other hand, Wendy almost couldn’t believe her ears! Joey was adopted and the call was from a social worker in Ohio. Joey’s birth mother wanted her son back! She said it was a mistake, the father never legally signed the papers. And now, after almost five years she wanted to remove him from the only home he’d ever known?
