Captain America~ Kari Willinger

After I saw this movie, I was kind of disappointed, but now when I think back, I have to admit, it was a very interesting and, altogether, a great movie.

The movie starts out in 1942. America is just now entering World War II. Steve Rodgers (Chris Evens- The Human Torch in Fantastic Four) is a sick, skinny reject that wants to join the army, but they will not allow him. He continues to try to get into the army and finally succeeds at becoming a soldier. When, in multiple situations, Steve proves his courageousness, thoughtfulness, and his wits, he is chosen for a secret program by Dr. Erksine (Stanley Tucci) called the Rebirth Program. This is where his body is enhanced to maximum potential. Immediately afterwards, Dr. Erksine is murdered and Steve Rodgers is left, a unique human being, to himself since the army is not sure what to do with him. Steve, being the man he is, whats to do anything he can to help. He decides to become a misused mascot called Captain America. Later on, he commits an act of pure courage and stupidity when he goes, by himself, to save hostages from the Nazi camp. He does succeeds and earns his right to the title, Captain America. The movie ends off with a twist and leaves you wanting more.
This movie was rated PG-13. There is no sex/nudity, only light kissing once or twice. The profanity in this movie is minor. There are three a** words, two or three d*** words, 6 h***, and one use of b****.

I would rate this move a 4.5/5. It was good, but the I believe they could have left the cussing out :)

Did you know that Kari HATES SpongeBob, but ends up watching it anyway?!?!

  2. Woops. Accidentally deleted my comment above. Anyway, I love Captain America! It was the first movie that made me cry- yeah, it was that good. I wanted to mourn over Captain America's loss of his date and then waking up 70 years later... This movie has such a good moral of a compassionate character.

    Love this blog. :)
